Cantering!
As many of my up to date blog readers may have noticed, I REALY feel a strong attraction to horses. On December 16th, 2009, I cantered a horses for the first time. Here is a video of my second lesson cantering. I was very tense, and I won't say I looked like a pro, but I really felt like one. FYI, the horse I'm cantering is Slick.

Life Without Limbs
I got to see Nick Vujicic! He is an amazing man! I was blessed in seeing him speak. :D I was totally amazed that someone as disabled as him, could trust in God so much! Please watch this video, I beg it of you! It will be the best spent 3 1/2 minutes in your life!
I ask only one more thing of you. Please email this video, or pass it around on facebook, your own blog, or any other ways you can think of. So many people were saved the night we saw him, it was unbelievable. Nick prayed over the room, and asked for everyone who was saved to stand up. People I know stood up! I was so happy for them!

CRAZY DAY! :P
I think I just had the most frantic five minutes of my life!
1) Lil' bro tried to trip me on the newly waxed floor
2) I knocked over a full bottle of coke, it spilled under the toaster oven and microwave
3) Lil' bro screamed because he slipped on the same floor and jammed his toe on the oven
4) Mom asked me (in the middle of all this) "Did you get all of your schoolwork done?"
5) I blew up! I screamed at Lil' bro and smacked the counter with my broken fingers **OW!**
6) I ran out of the room, held my fingers out and realized that my fingers had been more severely bruised
7) I asked God to help me calm down. I bandaged my fingers, mopped up the coke, and ran the Swifter over the floor to take some of the wax off
Phew!I can make a big mess out of a perfect day.

Sunset
I thought I should post a picture of the sunset that I took recently, I think that we can all learn a lot from looking with a naked eye at the sun.
Not many people see the true beauty and valor of the flaming ball of gas. It is not a simple working flame. It is a symbol of the true beauty of the LORD our God. And like the sun, not very many people see the true beauty of the SON.

C.S. Lewis
For anyone who has been reading my blog-
you should know that I am a C.S. Lewis admirer.
"I believe in Christianity just as I
believe that the sun has risen;
not only because I have seen it,
but because by it I see everything else."

Poem: Reality to Fiction
As I was on a midnight wander,
so came to my attention a little girl
standing in the moonlight.
-K. Kelly Version #One
As I was strolling down the sidewalk at ten 'o' clock,
I saw a little girl on a rock,
standing in the moonlight
--K. Kelly Version #2
As I was strolling, a midnight wander,
So came to my attention a little girl,
Standing on a boulder
and under the moonlight her face was pale,
and covered all over in ash.
So her hair hung lank and unkempt,
From her emitted a soft green glow,
as looking at her- she disappeared
- K. Kelly Finished Poem
As you can see above, I made a poem from a thing that really happened to me, into a kind of ghost story. I was walking down our sidewalk at 10 o clock, then saw Lil sister Lucy walking ahead of me. When the moonlight shone on her head, I foolishly imagined a ghost. But when I heard her singing, all my doubts were ceased.

On the mall
Burning eggs
My first attempt (Burnt, dry, smelly, .etc)
wanted to make myself eggs and toast. So on went the burner and CRACK went the egg shell and plop went the egg. I Didn't see a need to butter on it, or greese the pan (I've never intently watched my mom make eggs) and managed to BURN the egg. I felt really dumb afterwords, when Mom came in, buttered the pan and made me the perfect egg.

Pool
Hello all,
We went to the Pool today and Lil Bro said "I'll Be right back!" so we watched him and he went to the 10 ft section. "GET BACK HERE NOW!" yelled I. Lil bro stopped dead in his tracks. He came back and said, "I jus' wanted to see if you were watching." I grinned. Thats all Little boys are ever doing:

Foot prints
This is one of my favorite poems.
A man went to heaven and God let this man see the foot prints of where he (the man) walked in life.
But the man noticed that at the good times in his life there were two sets of foot prints, he knew they were God's. But at the hard times, there was only one set. He asked God: "Why did you leave me in the hardest points in my life?" God replied "That was when I was carrying you."

In The Car
A pretty funny moment in the car today....
Lil bro was rambling on about Johnnys volcano (Any one who knows him knows what that is)
Lil Sister was singing Christmas carols (no idea why)
Dad was trying to listen to the radio, and as a result, kept turning it up louder and louder (by the way, the song was Disco duck)
Mom was sitting in the front passengers telling everyone to quiet down
and I was sitting in the captains chair plugging my ears.

The End of the World!!
DADDDDDDYYYYYY!
SOMTHINS WRONG WITH THE POTTYYYYYYYYY!!!
Cried Little bro' on a friday morning. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING, SON! Replied Dad.
Dad rushed away from sorting bills to have a look. I was sitting at the breakfast bar at the time and later heard Lil bro give a detailed account of what had happened, and from a 4-year-year-old it sounded as if the sky was falling. Later, when I asked Dad what had happened he replied "You heard your brother, the world was ending, and I saved it with a plunger!"

Poetry
There is some kind of Magic around nearly all Poetry, notice I have recently posted LUCY GRAY, this is my favorite poem (Lucy Gray) but I also like Springtime Moments:
My senses come alive,
showered in the unwavering momentum of spring.
To hear, to feel, to see, to smell the sweetness of spring
and the miracle of life once again. PJC

Lucy Gray (or, Solitude)
By William Wordsworth
Oft I had heard of Lucy Gray:And, when I crossed the wild,I chanced to see at break of dayThe solitary child.
No mate, no comrade Lucy knew; She dwelt on a wide moor,-- The sweetest thing that ever grewBeside a human door!
You yet may spy the fawn at play,The hare upon the green; But the sweet face of Lucy GrayWill never more be seen.
To-night will be a stormy night --You to the town must go;And take a lantern, Child, to lightYour mother through the snow.
That, Father! will I gladly do:'T is scarcely afternoon --The minster-clock has just struck two,And yonder is the moon!
At this the Father raised his hook,And snapped a fagot-band;He plied his work; -- and Lucy tookThe lantern in her hand.
Not blither is the mountain roe:With many a wanton strokeHer feet disperse the powdery snow,That rises up like smoke.
The storm came on before its time:She wandered up and down; And many a hill did Lucy climb:But never reached the town.
The wretched parents all that nightWent shouting far and wide; But there was neither sound nor sightTo serve them for a guide.
At day-break on a hill they stoodThat overlooked the moor; And thence they saw the bridge of wood,A furlong from their door.
They wept -- and, turning homeward, cried,In Heaven we all shall meet;-- When in the snow the mother spiedThe print of Lucy's feet.
Then downwards from the steep hill's edgeThey tracked the footmarks small;And through the broken hawthorn hedge,And by the long stone-wall;
And then an open field they crossed:The marks were still the same; They tracked them on, nor ever lost; And to the bridge they came.
They followed from the snowy bankThose footmarks, one by one,Into the middle of the plank; And further there were none!
-- Yet some maintain that to this dayShe is a living child; That you may see sweet Lucy GrayUpon the lonesome wild.
O'er rough and smooth she trips along,And never looks behind; And sings a solitary song That whistles in the wind.

Flowers in bloom
Helicopters
Notice the difference of this one section of branch in just one week, it had gone from buds to flowers to tiny helicopters all in seven days, you see, the transaction is quite complex for the human mind to comprehend. It is a matter of the food of the plant (sun) forcing itself through the hollow of the branch to the end where it shoves through the end of the branch, solidifying and forming the bud. Which as you may know, then turns into a flower which turns into a helicopter.

This is just a cute little video I made while I was VERY bored. This is called a picture sucsession video, it is the first one I have ever made. It is made by taking a picture of a solid item, taking a picture then moving the object slightly, taking another picture, moving it again and soforth.

Horses in Florida
Me heading off
I looked nice as I headed off towards the Spring Formal, in a flowing blue/purple dress in our front lawn. The dress it so happens was sleeveless but when covered with a simple shawl from SEARS, I fitted me quite nicely. I don't really like dresses, but in seeing how it looked on me I quite forgot the itchy dress on my fresh sunburn from florida. I still much prefer Jeans and a T-shirt.....
Little Dragonfly
See this little guy? He just flew in and perched on my nose!!! Not really, I bought him at a gift shoppe in Florida, it is a little wooden dragonfly that is easy to balance on your lip, finger, nose or even your tongue! I really enjoyed having him....while he lasted..... It was kinda dumb for me to get such a delicate item with a little sibling in the house.... Lil bro ended up snapping off both wings!
